Life vs. Lunch

A hungry dog was sniffing here and there as if forgotten something some where. After much search the dog could see a rabbit in the forest. Immediately the dog started chasing the poor rabbit. The rabbit also tried his best and somehow he could find a hole at the edge of the forest to hide. The dog's dream of catching him was shattered. But he sat down at the hole and started  persuading the rabbit to come out for a while. And said, believe me I have dropped the idea of eating you, even harming you, but please tell me one small thing and come out.
On continued request and pleading, the rabbit gathered his courage  back and started peeping a little bit out of his hole by sensing through his whiskers (Vibrissae) as to how genuine was the dog's request. Finding the dog equally tired  and lost in hope he however, still in the hole said, yes, what can I do for you. On this the dog asked, brother Please tell me one thing that I am a giant dog, robust than you and I ran by all my strength yet why I could not catch  you ? Apt came the simple reply from rabbit : Brother you were running for Lunch and I was running for  life !. How many of us run for life is the real question ..........!

You see the God created us out of bare minimum !. Is it not a message to be sensed and understood. Rivers and streams while flowing remain sweet waterd and dont retain much for themselves and on the contrary the seas and oceans that keep accumulating all the time turn saline !
